Tips starts at 4:35
1. Co-wash more than shampooing to keep natural oils.
2. Stimulate blood flow by scratching and massaging the scalp to promote hair growth. Use oils like tea tree oil to stimulate and promote hair growth.
3. After washing and drying your hair with a cotton shirt or towel (thin fabric) apply oil or mask to the hair and cover with a plastic cap. Allow the mask to stay on the hair as long as possible. Overnight if you can. This will allow the hair to absorb the oils. Sitting under your dryer is helpful as well.
4. After my hair is dry, I apply more of my oil to my scalp and hair. Then I plat my hair..usually 4 plats and sealing the ends to extra moisture. As the ends of out hair can be dry and brittle.
5. Keep heat OFF of your hair, minimize manipulation of the hair. Minimize pulling, extremely tight braids, and chemicals.
